Adopting This Document at Your Church

We encourage all Christian churches who hold to the inerrancy of Scripture, love the glory of Jesus Christ, and affirm a Biblical view of marriage to officially adopt the Brooksville Statement of Marriage, or one like it, as their official church position on marriage.

Church Leaders

We encourage church leaders and pastors to adopt this document, in its entirety, by bringing it forward to your next elders meeting or board meeting for approval. We hope that discussing and defending these truths will be as valuable to your congregation as it has been to our own. Posting this document clearly on your website will be a witness to the world of your church's views on creation, gender, human sexuality, and marriage.

Church Members

If you are a member in good standing with your local church body, we encourage you to bring this document in its entirety to your pastor or elders for consideration. Tell you leaders how important a traditional view of marriage is to you, and urge them to take a strong stand on these weighty issues by adopting this statement formally.
